April Case of the Month by Dr. Nicholas Gadler
Check out our April Case of The Month. Last fall we began showcasing a few amazing cases clinicians shared with us at Snoasis Medical. After receiving feedback to continue to showcase and highlight these cases, we will continue to share a case each month. This month’s Case of The Month was shared by Dr. Nicholas Gadler.
Dr. Nicholas Gadler is a full-time practicing oral & maxillofacial surgeon in El Cajon, CA. Dr. Gadler practices a full scope of oral & maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from dental implant surgery to corrective jaw surgery and wisdom tooth removal. During his more than twenty years in private practice, Dr. Gadler has tirelessly worked to develop and refine surgical techniques so his patients not only receive the aesthetic benefits they desire but also experience far less trauma and shorter recovery times. Today we are pleased to showcase, what Dr. Gadler considered his “Most Challenging BioXclude Case” to date: This patient was inherited by Dr. Gadler. The patient was status post facial trauma in which he fell and fractured teeth #7, #8, #9 & #10 at the gum line. The patient was referred to Dr. Gadler one week following initial treatment because the PTFE membranes had become infected, were extruding and causing tremendous soft tissue defects due to dehiscence. |
