Perio Residents: Show Us Your Best BioXclude Case

Snoasis Medical will be hosting the “Best of Periodontology – Resident Edition” Contest, with submissions accepted now through October 15th, 2023 for all currently enrolled North American Periodontal Residents.

Contest Rules (the fine print):

All submissions must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. MST on October 15th, 2023.
Submissions will be judged anonymously by four of our Key Opinion Leaders.
Submissions must be made via email to mburns@snoasismedical.com.
Submissions should include case description & photos.
All cases will be graded on a 1 – 10 scale with the highest overall score being awarded our top prize, 2nd highest overall score will be awarded our 2nd prize and so on.
Payments will be in US Dollars.

Case Criteria:

Quality of Photographs (1-10 point scale)
Completeness of documentation (1-10 point scale)
Difficulty (1-10 point scale)
Uniqueness (1-10 point scale)
A perfect score would be 40 points

Earning extra points? A few ideas: (You can earn up to 5 additional points)

Document healing at 3-4 days post op, only for intentional non-primary closure.
Intra-Patient comparison of BioXclude vs X for a split mouth evaluation.
Measures changes of one or more proteins in the gingival crevicular fluid.
Evaluate and document soft tissue healing, specifically gingival thickness and attachment.
In-Vitro research.
