March Case of the Month by Dr. Michael Sonick

Check out our March, Case of The Month. Last fall we began showcasing some of the amazing cases clinicians share with us at Snoasis Medical. After receiving feedback to continue to showcase and highlight cases we will continue to share a case each month. This month’s Case of The Month was shared by one of our KOL’s, Dr. Michael Sonick.

Michael Sonick
DMD
Dr. Michael Sonick is a full-time practicing periodontist and implant surgeon in Fairfield, CT. A renowned educator, author, and clinical researcher, he is a Guest Lecturer for the International Dental Program at New York University School of Dentistry, the periodontal residency program at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, a former Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at Yale University School of Medicine, and a frequent lecturer on periodontics, dental implants and practice management for educational programs around the world. Locally, he is the founder and director of the Fairfield County Dental Club, an advanced continuing education organization that provides courses on the latest developments in dentistry to clinicians and their staff. Dr. Sonick is also the founder and director of Sonick Seminars, LLC, a multidisciplinary teaching institute located in his clinical office and teaching center. He is editor of the textbook, Implant Site Development, which has been translated into both Spanish and Chinese.

Today we are pleased to showcase the Esthetic Rehabilitation with (SFOT) Surgical Facilitated Orthodontic Therapy by Dr. Michael Sonick:

This 23 year old female dental student was congenitally missing her mandibular lateral incisors. As a child, this condition didn’t cause any problems, but as an adult, she started to develop jaw pain due to the misaligned bite. This case was successfully resolved with the amazing work of a multidisciplinary team of dental professionals.
